Should I be worried about child's development?

My 5 month old can sit supported and LOVES to bear weight on his legs, loves for me and hubby to stand him up but he does not particularly like tummy time. We place him down and he can last for 5 mins before starting to cry. He loves to grab his feet while laying on his back and also push up from his pelvic like he wants to roll from back to tummy. He can roll from side to side while on his back but rarely from back to tummy. He already has rolled from tummy to back when on tummy time. But he does not do it very often. Should I be worried about a developmental delay? He loves to babbles, do spit bubbles, and imitate us but he does not like to roll or do tummy time.

I dont think there is reason for worry yet.The fact that he doesn't like to be on atummy, just shows his likes and dislikes:) and since he can rollfrom tummyto back, I am sure that he will soon to be able to turn from back to tummy (more often). If you still worry, then go to pediatrician for evaluation, and maybe to (physical) terapist to get advice on exercises with which you would motivate him to turn more often. Although I don't see need for it :)

sounds like he's perfectly on track and doing just great - my daughter hated tummy time with a passion, so much so i stopped doing it and she's doing just fine. all development milestones are a guideline, not the law - all babies are individuals and do things in their own good time, some things they love and will do over and over and over, other things they do and think yep i can do this but not going to do it again coz i don't want or i don't like it. he's a little person figuring things out, and from what you said he's coming on great and doing what he should be doing.

its easy to get stressed and worried about these things, but don't, relax, enjoy him and he'll be amazing you with new moves before you know it

That doesn't sound like a development delay at all! My Son hated 'tummy time' on the floor and rarely rolled over. We strengthened his stomach muscles by carrying him, practicing sitting in between our legs, laying him on our chests etc. He went from sitting to crawling to cruising and now walking. He's 14 months. All babies are different.
