Hydrocephalus. Is it Possible?

I know this might sound crazy but it has been on my mind for a while. When my son was 2 months old he fell off the couch. Dr said everything was fine he was acting normal. At his 4 month well check his head had grown significantly. They decided to just watch it and so far it has been a steady growth since then but it is still huge. He now has developmental delays at 19 months old. He didn't sit until 7 months old, didn't crawl until 11 months old, and didn't walk until almost 16 months old. He also does not talk now at 19 months and doesn't use gestures to communicate. I know there could be numerous things causing his delays. My Question is would he be able to go that long without being diagnosed? Would his only symptoms be delays and large head? Any insight into this would be great. Thanks.

Johnny 		Please, get another diagnosis and keep getting them till you get answers. There are many conditions that take up to 2 years to really show such as Autism and Infantile Alexander Disease, but we do not want to jump to conclusions. Find another doctor and ask for every test on the plant. You deserve answers. I hope everything works out brilliantly for you!

Johnny 		Falling off the couch does not cause hydrocephalus.

When trauma causes blood to accumulate in the brain, this is a medical emergency that kills someone very quickly. This is not the seame thing as hydrocephalus.

He needs to see a pediatric neurologist.
