Could it be Hydrocephalus?

My son is now 19 months old. At 2 months old he fell off the couch and of course i freaked out. I called the doctor and they said as long as he was acting fine, no huge bumps or vomiting he was probably ok, and just to watch him. Well i did and he was smiling at me 2 minutes after it happened. At is 4 month well check they had noticed that there was a large jump in his head circumference. They just decided to watch it and see what happened. There has been a steady growth since then but he has been slightly delayed in motor skills over the past year and a half and extremely delayed in speech. I had him seen by a developmental specialist at 9 months and she didn't seem to listen to me and said lets just wait and see. I am just concerned and wondering if he went undiagnosed. I know that it is most likely isn't the case but i know that doctors can be wrong and with him being so young an MRI can be tricky. Anyone else have a young child with hydrocephalus? What symptoms did they have? Would there be more than just a developmental delay and large head size? I do understand that his delays could be from other issues that we haven't talked about yet. I am going to see the developmental specialist in December again. Just figured i would ask if it would be possible for him to go this long without serious complications with it going untreated? Any input would be appreciated.

Johnny
He needs to be seen by a neurosurgeon. That's the only way to know.
